Wind Speed, wind direction, air temperature and solar radiation effect the performance of photovoltaic arrays   The Comptus A70 Series provides analog signals proportional to these phenomena.

Tracking arrays with large surface areas can be damaged in high winds.  Comptus manufactures wind alarms that will signal the need to stow in high winds.
